Executive Team

Bill Brunner was appointed by the Nassau County Industrial Development Agency (NCIDA) to serve as Chief Marketing Officer and Director of Business Development in June 2023. Mr. Brunner’s role consists of developing and executing marketing strategies that attract, retain, and expand business in Nassau County as well as supporting public relations matters for the agency.

 Prior to joining the NCIDA, Mr. Brunner worked as a Senior Software Engineering Manager and Tech Lead at Gemini Trust Co. LLC. During his five years at Gemini, Mr. Brunner oversaw a team of 10+ engineers and led a plethora of project planning, marketing and design efforts that included multiple facets of collaboration between business development, product management and engineering. He exhibited team leadership in this role, and collaborated with his fellow managers to launch a multi-faceted revenue stream that incorporated new strategies for fee collection and account management, among others.

Before joining Gemini, Mr. Brunner held the position of Vice President of Capital Markets Technology at Bank of America. As a Global Markets and Investment Banking Technology Engineering Lead, Mr. Brunner built and maintained the Bank’s product reference data while introducing innovative technology strategies and optimizing the Bank’s performance.

Motivated by his desire to utilize creativity and innovative strategies to solve complex problems, Mr. Brunner is excited to bring his experiences to his new role of CMO at the NCIDA.

Mr. Brunner received a B.S. in Computer Science from Columbia University Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science. In his free time, Bill enjoys being with his wife and two sons and is very active in his sons' sports leagues.
