Troiano Fuel Oil Co. was founded in 1948 by Mr. Troiano's grandfather and father when the family moved from Brooklyn to Valley Stream. As a teenager, Mr. Troiano continued in the family tradition and began working for the company. There, he cultivated his strong work ethic, and learned the importance of delivering a superior product and dedicated service to his customers. His father, Bart Troiano, remained an inspiration, working in the day-to-day operations until his death at age 88. Today, Marco and his brother, Vito, preserve the same values and commitment to customer service that have made Troiano Fuel Coil Co. a successful mainstay of the community for 75 years.

In 1984, Mr. Troiano joined forces with a friend and expanded into the landscaping business with Xanadu Landscape Development Corp., Mr. Troiano handles the daily operations of the business and is the front person to all sales and customer relations working closely with community boards, management companies and homeowners. For over 38 years the company has provided high quality landscape design, maintenance, and construction services to residential, commercial, and condominium properties throughout Long Island.

Fulfilling a lifelong dream, in 2009 Marco opened an Italian restaurant in the small village of Malverne where he now lives. "II Villagio Trattoria" has established itself a mainstay in the community with a diverse, loyal, consistent clientele. The restaurant has provided another opportunity for Mr. Troiano to show his dedication and support to his community and the village by hosting many community events and fundraisers.

A lifelong resident of Nassau County, Mr. Troiano attended St Agnes H.S. in Rockville Centre and earned a B.S. in business administration from St. John's University.
